Heya! Chapter thirty-two is up after a marathon writing session last night. Still looking for them beta readers. – There will be a wrap up chapter, Jacob’s letter to Iggy, and maybe a map of the alley if I can sweet talk my sister.
Maybe two chapters and an afterword left to go! Writing this book has been one heck of a journey. This chapter features the Fremont Troll, which you can visit if you ever make it to Seattle. In the book, it’s buried deep underground, along with the remains of the Aurora bridge. (don’t worry, they built a new one)
Chapter 26 is up, and it takes us to Gasworks Park, where I got the idea for Steam Whistle Alley. It’s one of my favorite places in Seattle. It’s an old coal gasification plant, where coal was turned into gas which lit the streetlights and heated homes in the early 20th century.
Writing this book has been an amazing journey, and as I get to the end I want to thank my readers. Feel free to join my mailing list, and I will keep you updated on the release date, the audiobook, as well as progress on SWA: Second Gear.
